Contact Lenses
Contact Lenses of All Kinds, for All Needs
Andrew Stone Optometry offers a broad range of rigid gas permeable and soft contact lenses including bifocal, toric, and color contacts to meet your unique vision needs.
People wear contact lenses for corrective, cosmetic and therapeutic reasons – serving many of the same corrective functions as eyeglasses – but they’re lightweight and virtually invisible. (Some cosmetic lenses are deliberately colored to alter the appearance of the eye.)
If you’ve never worn contacts before, you may be surprised at how comfortable and easy to maintain today’s brands truly are. Plus you don’t have to worry about wet weather, they don’t steam up, and you get a wider field of vision with contacts. Contact lenses are also more suitable for many sports than glasses are.
Many of our customers choose to wear both eyeglasses and contact lenses (not at the same time, of course!) In fact, with our new iPoint VTO (Virtual Try-On) System – you can even see how you look in different eyeglass frames, or even in colored contacts, before you make a purchase!
Dr. Stone will be happy to discuss the pros and cons of contact lenses with you and assess their suitability for your vision needs.
While you’re there, be sure to ask about rebates – manufacturers of several major contact lens brands often offer money-saving offers that we’re happy to share with our clients.
